I simply installed the 8 camera system. The plug and play makes things so simple and all 8 channel standalone dvr work perfectly. I am extremely pleased with this particular product. If only I possibly could post a picture of my monitor with all of 8 pictures going at the same time.

Two points of caution though:
1. Be very careful when fishing wires. I wanted a really professional-looking install so I fished wires through some tight places. I tied my pull string round the wire at the the small pod where the single cable separates in to the power and video wires since it was a point in which the string wouldn’t slide. The tension of pulling the string against the pod caused the power wire to separate slightly in the base of the pod so when I plugged the wire in to the power source, it didn’t make a full connection also it somehow caused the three other cameras to lose power. It took some time but I figured it, repaired it and delay pills work fine. Just wrap tape around the wire and pull string.
2. When you position your obd codes, be sure not to have two cameras face each other. I made that mistake and when the night time vision kicks in, infrared camerss facing one another appear like a super very bright shining lights in your monitor screen and if there is no other source of light, it’ll completely blot out everything else. Counterbalance the cameras so at night, one camera doesn’t get another camera’s infrared beam,obd bluetooth or just ensure that there is another source of light bright enough to drown out the infrared beam from the cameras facing one another. I widh I possibly could show you night pictures odf this problem and how I addressed the 8 channel standalone dvr.
Remember that all Stand Alone DVR‘s have different configurations and terminology. I will let you know that to properly setup the Stand Alone DVR’s for recording while conserving maximum storage. Most DVR’s will not have as numerous options for recording configuration, but this should cover pretty much every setting you will find.
In the Stand Alone DVR,obd ii codes, every camera has its own configuration. Unlike most DVR’s, you are able to set each camera differently, or they can be the same. Most other DVR’s only have one setting that pertains to all of the cameras at once. Let’s discuss each setting individually.
